From grassroots courage
to national acclaim

Every milestone in our club’s chronicle has been forged through the dedication of ordinary residents of Ranaghat who accomplished extraordinary feats.

1970 — The Genesis
A group of passionate local boys founded Kamalpur Abhijaan Sangha under a banyan tree, initiating neighborhood football friendly matches and community worship.
1975 — Formal Society Registration
Officially registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961, institutionalizing our welfare constitution and electoral bylaws.
1982 — Blood Donation Seva Wing
Launched Nadia district’s first large-scale voluntary blood donation drive in partnership with the Indian Red Cross Society, collecting 120 bottles on inaugural day.
1991 — Sangha Bhavan & Netaji Library
Inaugurated our two-story headquarters building on Kamalpur Road with a free reading room for local school and college students.
2005 — Pandal Theme Architecture Movement
Pioneered environmental and sculptural theme pujas in Nadia district, earning widespread critical praise and television coverage.
2015 — Floodlit Stadium Tournaments
Installed modern floodlighting on Sangha grounds, transforming the Kamalpur Gold Cup into a marquee knockout tournament featuring clubs from across Bengal.
2024 — Nationwide Attention & Monumental Art
Captivated the nation with the awe-inspiring 112-foot idol concept and our constructive dialogue with the Calcutta High Court regarding crowd safety and civil harmony.
2026 — 117 Forms of Durga & 55+ Year Jubilee
Celebrating five and a half decades of unbroken devotion and service with the historic presentation of 117 individual forms of Devi Durga.
